6. Disco nnect the fuel hose tu be(A).

7. Remove heater hose(A) and disconnect the brake
vaccume hose(B).

8. Disconnect the surge tank stay.
9. Rem ove the surge tank.
10. Loosen the cylinderhead cover bolts and then remove
the cover(A) and gasket.

11. Set No.1 cylinder to TDC/compression.
a. Turn the crankshaft pulley and align its groove
with the timing mark "T" of the lower timing chain
cover.
