What to do if the SMART1+ channel light is blinking on my Kinze Farm Equipment?
    • C
      Christopher WardAug 13, 2025
If the SMART1+ channel light is blinking on your Kinze Farm Equipment, but the light goes out or continues to blink at the same speed when you press the Open/On or Close/Off button, try these steps. First, remove the battery and bend the contacts closer together before reinserting it. If that doesn't work, the battery may be dead and require replacement with two new “AAA” batteries. If the issue still persists, the SMART1+ may be damaged and need to be replaced.

If there are no lights on the remote of your Kinze Farm Equipment when the lid is open, try the following: First, close the lid for three seconds, then reopen it. Next, ensure there are no magnets close to the transmitter. After that, open the transmitter case and check that the battery is correctly placed in the remote. If the issue persists, remove the battery and bend the contacts closer together before reinserting it. The battery may be dead, so replace it with 2 “AAA” batteries. If the Kinze Farm Equipment system isn't working with the remote, first ensure the remote is set to the correct channel. If you're unable to set the remote to the desired channel, it needs to be reprogrammed according to the transmitter programming instructions. Also, make sure that no other transmitters are being used nearby. If the issue persists, test the transmitter with a different receiver or use a second remote to determine if the transmitter is the problem. If the receiver is at fault, reprogram it following the receiver programming instructions; if this doesn’t resolve the issue, the receiver should be replaced.
