21.Tractors with narrow tread width re-
quire extra driving caution to avoid tip
over. You can improve stability by
adjusting rear wheels to maximum
tread width, see page 35.

1. Apply the parking brake, the lift con-
trol lever in the down position and the
transmission levers in neutral before
starting the tractor.
2. Avoid accidental contact with the gear
shift levers while the engine is
running. Unexpected tractor movement
can result in bodily injury.
3. Shut off the engine and P.T.O. and
apply the packing brake before get-
ting off the tractor.

4. Do not park the tractor on a steep
incline.
