Move the front wheel drive lever rear-
ward (A) to engage the front wheel drive
mechanism.
During ordinary farming work, keep the
lever forward (B) to leave the mecha-
nism disengaged. The front wheel drive
mechanism is very effective on the fol-
lowing jobs.
1. On slopes and in wet fields, or when
connected to the Trailer or the Front-
End-Loader where great traction is
required.
2. On sandy land.
3. To prevent the tractor being thrust for-
ward during rotary tilling hard soil.
4. Entering a job location or going over a
high bank.

PTO CHANGE LEVERPTO SAFETY SWITCH(ON/OFF)
Push the PTO switch(On, Off) when stop
the PTO in case of emergency.

Two PTO speeds can be obtained by
shifting the PTO speed lever from the
operator’s seat.
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
Disengage PTO, stop engine, and
allow all rotating components to
come to a complete stop before
connecting, disconnecting, ad-
justing, or cleaning any PTO dri-
ven equipment.
