DO NOT
1) Do STUDY the manual in detail.
2) Do ASCERTAIN what tools & equipments are required to
carry out the job.
3) Do USE proper tools to suit the job. Avoid unnecessary
dismantling.
4) Do ENSURE that all nuts, screws, pipe connections,
electrical cable connections & covers are properly tightened.
5) Do ENSURE that suction filter elements are clean.
6) Do ENSURE sufficient & recommended grade of lube oil for
compressor.
7) Do DRAIN condensates from all manual drain points.
8) Do CHECK oil level in tank. Oil Should be visible & should be
well above minimum level marked on oil level indicator
during working condition.
9) Do ENSURE proper direction of rotation before starting.
10) Do WATCH for unusual/abnormal sound and remove the
fault without delay.
11) Do ENSURE that the compressor room is properly ventilated
& there is sufficient circulation of fresh air from atmosphere.
12) Do ENSURE that stipulated water flow is maintained, else
reduced heat transfer will lead to high temperatures, &
subsequent problems. (Wherever applicable)
1) Do NOT ATTEND the unit when the unit is in operation.
2) Do NOT USE cotton waste for cleaning purpose.
3) Do NOT ATTEMPT to start the unit unless fault is rectified.
4) Do NOT CHANGE the settings of any fo the instruments.
5) Do NOT ATTEMPT to carry out maintenance/service
operation on the equipments unless the system is
depressurised (Wherever applicable)
