6. Overlap the ends of the ribbon.
7. Place tape at the center and at each end of the ribbon.
IMPORTANT: Slack in the ribbon can cause a paper jam.
Wind the repaired end of the ribbon onto the take-up spool.
Make sure that you remove any slack in the ribbon.
8. Carefully insert the cassette until it clicks into place.
