Quick parameter list
The tree diagram shown on the left shows how the
performance edit parameters (quick parameters) are
organized. These parameters are explained below.
Common
Rename
Specifies the name of the performance (p. 26).
SplitPoint
[C#2...C7]
Specifies the split point. This value is effective only
when split is on.
Tip: You can set this from the front panel. Press the
LOWER button and UPPER button. Then press the key
that you want to specify as the split point. The key you
pressed will be the lowest key of the upper region.
Scale:
Specifies the scale used by the performance. Separately
from this setting, you can make the “Scale” parameter
of the program take priority for each timbre
( “UsePrgScl (Use Prog Scale),” p. 31).
Type
[EqualTemp...UsrOct 03]
Selects the scale ( “Type,” PG p.5).

settings in PS60 Editor/Plug-In Editor.

Key (Scale Key)
[C…B]
Selects the key of the specified scale.
This setting does not apply to the Equal
Temperament, Stretch, and User All Notes scales.
Random
[0…7]
This parameter creates random variations in pitch
for each note.
