Remove screws
. Remove oil filter cover
with the O-ring.
Pull oil filter
out of the oil filter housing.
Circlip pliers reverse (51012011000)
Completely drain the engine oil.
Thoroughly clean the parts and sealing surface.

Insert oil filter

Lubricate the O-ring of the oil filter cover. Mount oil filter cover
.
Mount and tighten the screws.
Guideline
Screw, oil filter cover M5 8 Nm (5.9 lbf ft)
Screw, oil filter cover M6 12 Nm (8.9 lbf ft)
Info
Too little engine oil or poor-quality engine oil results in premature wear of the
engine.
