7. Instructions for work
General:
This spreader is designed primarily for hauling and
spreading solid and semisolid materials.
7.1 Spreader operation
Before loading the spreader, be sure the hydraulic
endgate is closed and there are no obstructions in
the beaters. Inspect the spreader to see that it is in
good mechanical condition and that all shields are in
place and functional.
7.1.1 Jack storage
After coupling the unit to the tractor, remove jack
and store on the side of the machine.
Raise jack (1) using crank handle.
Remove pin (2) and relocate the jack to the side of
the machine (3). Replace pin.
Always refer to operating safety instructions
and precautions before operating the
spreader. Be sure no one is on, inside, or
near the spreader. Be sure that the discharge
path is clear of all objects or persons that
could be harmed by discharged material.
Keeping jack stored in the proper position
will keep it from getting damaged during
transportation.
