Tethering and Mobile Hotspot Settings
Use the settings menu to configure your Mobile Hotspot settings which allow you to share
your phone’s data service with multiple Wi-Fi capable devices. You can also share your
phone's Internet connection via a USB cable or Bluetooth. For details on your phone’s
tethering and Mobile Hotspot settings, see Tethering and Mobile Hotspot.
VPN Settings
A virtual private network (VPN) is a network that uses a public telecommunication
infrastructure, such as the Internet, to provide remote offices or individual users with
secure access to their organization’s network. For more information about the VPN settings,
see Virtual Private Networks (VPN)
Cellular Network Settings
Data Roaming
1.
From the Home screen, press Menu (center softkey) > Settings > Wireless &
networks > More > Cellular networks >Data Roaming
2.
Select On or Off.
Network Mode
You can select your preferred network mode with this menu.
1.
From the Home screen, press Menu (center softkey) > Settings > Wireless &
networks > More > Cellular networks > Network mode.
2.
Select a network mode from the displayed options.
Access Point Names
To add a new access point:
1.
From the Home screen, press Menu (center softkey) > Settings > Wireless &
networks > More > Cellular networks > Access Point Names.
2.
Select + New APN and enter the necessary information.
3.
Press Save (left softkey).
To restore the default settings:
1.
From the Home screen, press Menu (center softkey) > Settings > Wireless &
networks > More > Cellular networks > Access Point Names.
