(1) Status page
The printer can print different types of the status page—the user status page and the service status page. This section
exclusively describes information obtainable with the service status page.
Information on the service page include various settings for the printer, service statistics, etc. To print a service status
page, proceed as follows:
Printing the service status page
To print a service status page, using the GO key on the operator panel. Or, have a PC running MSDOS and proceed as
follows:
GO key
[Prints a user status page]
Press the GO key for 3 seconds or more and
less than 10 seconds.
[Prints a service status page]
Press the GO key for 10 seconds or more.
PC
1. Connect the printer to the PC via the parallel
interface.
2. Ensure that the printer is ready to print.
3. At the DOS prompt, type:
echo !R! STAT 1; EXIT; >lpt1:
The service status page is printed. (If you
omit ‘1,’ a user status page is printed.)
