When you are using Windows Vista and the IP address specified in step 5 is correct,
the Install the printer driver screen appears. Proceed to step 9.
When you are using Windows Vista and the IP address specified in step 5 is not cor-
rect, the Additional Port Information Required screen appears. Proceed to the next
step.
When you are using Windows operating system other than Windows Vista, the Addi-
tional Port Information Required screen appears. Proceed to the next step.

Select [TCP/IP Device] in the
[Device type] box, enter the IP
address of the GA-1310/E
printer in the [Hostname or IP
address] box, and click [Next].
When you use a WINS server, enter
the print server name of the GA-
1310/E printer provided from the
WINS server in the [Hostname or IP
address] box.
In the [Port name] box, the port name
is automatically entered according to
the IP address or printer name
entered in the [Hostname or IP
address] box.

Select [Custom] and click [Set-
tings].
The Configure Standard TCP/IP Port
Monitor dialog box appears.
