Types of Trace Decoder Errors

One of the following errors may occur:

• Harderror

• Flowerror

• Fifofull

Harderror

There is no valid trace data. Possible reasons are:

• Wrong lane order

• Wrong endianness configuration (bit/byte/word/long)

• Skipping wrong amount of bytes (CRC or not)

Please see Diagnosis Check List.

Flowerror

The traced data is not consistent with the code in the target memories. Possible reasons are:

• Memory contents have changed (e.g. self modifying code).

• Wrong endianness configuration (bit/byte/word/long)

• Skipping wrong amount of bytes at the end of each Aurora frame (CRC or not)
