6.1.3 Sensor Name
Determines a user-friendly name for a specific sensor, for example the location where it is
installed.
Message format:
CFGSNS,sensor index,sensor name
sensor index: A single digit number describing the number of the sensor in the unit, from sensor
#1 till sensor #4.
sensor name: Sensor name, MAXIMUM 13 characters long, including space characters if any.
Sensor name is the only field where white spaces can be entered, and CAPITAL
letters must be used.
Example: CFGSNS,1,TANK 7 DRAIN
This sensor will be named in the messages as “TANK 7 DRAIN” for easier
identification.
Note:
If sensor name is not programmed by the user, then the default will be sensor#1, sensor#2,
sensor#3 or sensor#4 according to sensor index.
Note: This setting can also be done from SLC-Manager PC program or from the LCD (if installed).
6.1.4 Update Interval
Determines how often a specific message will be re-sent again and again to the user/s. It is up to
the user to determine which messages are more critical than others. If the SLC-220 is battery
powered, this should also be taken into consideration when determining the Update Intervals.
Message format:
CFGINT,sensor index,index for Water,index for Oil,index for High-Oil,
index for Air,index for Fail, index for Battery
sensor index: A single digit number describing the number of the sensor in the unit, from sensor
#1 till sensor #4.
index for Water: Index between 0 and 15, taken from the table below. This determines when a
Water status message will be re-sent.
index for xxxxx: Same as for Water, but for another status.
index for Battery: Same as for Water, but for battery/supply voltage bellow the programmed
threshold (Low Battery Threshold for Warning - refer to chapter 4.5).
Example: CFGINT,1,15,7,5,8,14,12
For sensor #1, Water messages interval is 24 hours, Oil messages interval is 120
minutes, High-Oil messages interval is 60 minutes, etc.
