Example 1: CAL,3,SET,WNTR
Set sensor #3 to Winter season
Example 2: CAL,1,SSN,185
Set sensor #1 to have an offset of 185 uA during Winter season.
6.2.3 Automatic Calibration
Initiates a Water calibration or Air calibration set-point value to a specific sensor. The user must
verify that the sensor is in Water / Air prior to sending the respective command.
Message format:
CAL,sensor index,AUTO,status
sensor index: A single digit number describing the number of the sensor in the unit, from sensor
#1 till sensor #4.
status: Either Air or Water.
Example: CAL,2,AUTO,WATER
The SLC-220 reads the current signal of sensor #2 and sets this value to be the
new WATER set-point. This will take effect ONLY after Write Calibration
command is received and confirmed by the SLC-220.
6.2.4 Write Calibration
All the above Calibration messages will take effect only after sending the “Write Calibration“
command. This enables the SLC-220 to examine the validity of all parameters as a whole. A
session of additional calibration commands will require another “Write Calibration” command at
the end of the new session.
Message format:
CAL,DONE
6.2.5 Calibration Confirmation
There are three feedback messages sent by the SLC-220 to the user that sent the “Write
Calibration” message:
• CAL,DONE OK - Confirmation that the calibration parameters were accepted and
saved in the SLC-220.
• CAL,DONE ERROR - Error message. The last calibration session has some errors and
was rejected completely. The user should examine the validity of all
parameters again before initiating another calibration session.
• CAL,DONE NO DATA CHANGE - A feedback that the calibration session didn’t contain
any messages accept the “Write Calibration” message.
