PROBLEM

Relay malfunctions, and
corresponding Relay LED
does not track an
expected state of the
relay.
Sensor thresholds and/or
Relay setup are set
improperly.
Correct the settings.
Relay malfunctions, while
corresponding Relay LED
tracks the expected state
of the relay.
Faulty Relay.
Replace Outputs board.
Remote recorder receives
less than 20mA when
expecting 20mA.
Improper 4-20mA
parameter settings.
Check the Analog Output settings:
Refer to chapter 2.2.3.
Load is above 400 ohms.
Reduce load below 400 ohms.
OIL indication in the
absence of oil.
Sensor is not properly
installed.
Ensure vertical position of the
Sensor Assembly.
Sensor "jumps" due to
turbulence.
Install Sensor Assembly in a stilling
tube and/or increase response delay
(chapter 4.4).
Entangled flexible cable
between the Sensor and
the Stilling Cage.
Carefully release any entanglement.
System is out of
calibration.
Re-calibrate.
Change of liquid status
does not result in
appropriate Lights
indication or LCD
indication.
Liquid level is too low.
Make sure the liquid level is not less
than that specified in the Sensor
Test Certificate.
System is not calibrated.
Re-calibrate.
Wrong Lights setup.
Set Lights correctly (chapter 4.5).
