5.1 Scheduled Maintenance
5.1.1 Maintenance After Operation
• Clean the Splendimo (page 5-3).
•
Make sure the knife pins are tight.
• Make sure the mower discs are torque-tight.
• Grease the Splendimo with an anti-corrosion agent.
5.1.2 Maintenance After the First 30 Working Hours
After the Splendimo is used for the first time, or if a new gearbox or drive
element is installed:
•
Replace the gearbox oil (page 5-4).
• Replace the drive element oil (page 5-5).
5.1.3 Maintenance Every 50 Working Hours
• Grease the pivot points (page 5-3).
•
Grease the bearing of the transmission suspension arm (page 5-10).
5.1.4 Maintenance Every 100 Working Hours
• Make sure the PTO shafts telescope smoothly.
• Grease the PTO shaft (page 5-4).
• Grease the bearings block of the conditioner rollers (page 5-9).
• Grease the V-belt tensioner (page 5-8).
5.1.5 Maintenance Every 250 Working Hours
• Replace the gearbox oil (page 5-4).
• Replace the drive element oil (page 5-5).
• Make sure the hydraulic hoses are not damaged or worn. Replace if
necessary.
5.1.6 Maintenance Every 500 Working Hours or 1000 Hectare
• Grease the mower elements (page 5-6).
5.1.7 Maintenance Before Prolonged Storage
• Grease the Splendimo with an anti-corrosion agent.
• Grease the piston rod with an anti-corrosion agent.
• If necessary, grease the mower elements (page 5-6).
• Examine the wear plates, mower discs and knives for wear and damage.
Replace if necessary.
