7. TROUBLESHOOTING
The crop flow through is irregular.
•
Do not drive too slowly, the effective working speed starts at 8 km/h.
• Adjust the condition intensity.
• Adjust the rotor speed.
• Install agitators.
The mower indents the ground.
• Decrease the ground pressure (page 4-2).
The mowed crop flow is irregular.
• See the crop flow-through is irregular.
The conditioner jams.
• Adjust the rotor speed.
An incorrect swath is produced.
• Adjust the swath width
• Install a spreading kit to narrow the swath.
• Increase your drive speed.
• If a spreading kit is installed:
• Adjust the spreading fins.
• Remove some spreading fins.
• Just use one big spreading fin.
The mower floats during operation.
• Increase the ground pressure. (page 4-2)
The crop is mowed at irregular heights.
• Increase the ground pressure (page 4-2).
• Replace the mower knives. (page 5-11)
The crop entangles around the cutter bar and mower discs.
• Maintain a PTO speed as shown on the Splendimo.
