Two dierent heights (draw point positions) are provided at the
machine for the cross shaft.
Mounting position Eect
Cross shaft mounted at top
Low draw point
n Improve penetration of the
machine.
n Increase roller pressure.
n Reduce lifting force require‐
ment.
Cross shaft mounted at bottom
High draw point
n Increase lift height.
n Reduce slippage.
n Reduce roller pressure.
ATTENTION
Excessive pressure load on the rollers will cause them
to become clogged or sink into the ground too much.
Damage to the machine possible.
Reduce the weight load on the rollers:
– Mount the top link higher on the headstock.
INFORMATION
Insucient pressure load on the rollers will cause insu‐
cient reconsolidation or crumbling eect of the rollers.
Increase the weight load on the rollers:
– Mount the top link lower on the headstock.
Preconditions:
√ The machine is parked on even subsoil.
√ Machine has been detached from the tractor.
