thedevicetowhichyouwanttoconnect.SimultaneoussearchingisnotallowedintheBluetoothconnection.
Problem:YousearchforaBluetooth-enableddevicebyclickingViewdevicesinrangeinMyBluetooth
Places,butyoucannotndanything.
Solution:MakesurethatthedevicetowhichyouwanttoconnectisenabledfortheBluetoothconnection.
Aftermakingsureoftheabove,turntheBluetoothpoweroffandthenonagain,orrestartyourcomputer.
Thensearchforthedeviceagain.
Problem:YoucannotconnecttoanyBluetooth-enableddevice.
Solution:MakesurethatbothyourcomputerandthedeviceareturnedonandtheirBluetoothantennas
areenabled.
Aftermakingsureoftheabove,turntheBluetoothpoweroffandthenonagain,orrestartyourcomputer.
Thenre-establishyourconnectiontothedevice.
Iftheproblempersists,re-installtheBluetoothsoftwareandreestablishyourconnectiontothedevice.
Problem:YourcomputerisconnectedtoaBluetooth-enableddevice,butyoucannotuseanyofthe
servicesofthatdevice.
Solution:MakesurethatthedeviceisenabledfortheBluetoothconnection.
1.Double-clicktheMyBluetoothPlacesicon.
2.GotoBluetoothTasksandclickViewdevicesinrange.
Ifyoucannotndthedevice,itmayhavestoppedresponding.Makesurethatitisenabledforthe
Bluetoothconnection.Ifyoundit,connecttotheservicesyouwant.
Ifyouaresurethatthedeviceisresponding,turntheBluetoothpoweroffandthenonagain,orrestart
yourcomputer.Thentrytoconnectagain.
Problem:Youcannotpullabusinesscardfromtheconnectedcomputer.
Solution:Makesurethattheconnectedcomputerhasitsowndefaultbusinesscardapplicationandthat
thecardisreadyforcommunication.
Makesurethatthesecuritysettingsontheconnectedcomputerallowyoutodownloadthebusinesscard.
Problem:Youcannotsendabusinesscardtotheconnectedcomputer.
Solution:Makesurethatyourcomputerhasitsowndefaultbusinesscardapplicationandthatthecard
isreadyforcommunication.
Makesurethatthesecuritysettingsontheconnectedcomputerallowyoutouploadyourbusinesscard.
Problem:YourcomputerisconnectedtoaBluetooth-enabledcomputerthatworksasanFTPserver,
butyoucannotseeanylesintheFTPserver.
Solution:Checkthenewlysharedlesasfollows:
1.InthemenuofMyBluetoothPlaces,clickView.
2.ClickUpdate.Thestatusisupdatedinthewindow,sothatyoucancheckthenewlysharedles.
Makesurethatthesharedfolderintheconnectedcomputercontainsthelesyouarelookingfor.
Makesurethatthesecuritysettingsontheconnectedcomputerallowyoutoconnectandviewthe
lesinthecomputer.
