–Ifyourcomputerisinsleep(standby)mode,pressFntoresumefromthesleep(standby)mode.
–Iftheproblempersists,dotheSolutionintheproblembelow.
•Problem:Thescreenisunreadableordistorted.
Solution:Makesurethat:
–Thedisplaydevicedriverisinstalledcorrectly.
–Thescreenresolutionandcolorqualityarecorrectlyset.
–Themonitortypeiscorrect.
Tocheckthesesettings,dothefollowing:

1.Right-clickonthedesktop,andclickScreenresolution.
2.ClickAdvancedSettings.
3.ClicktheAdaptertab.
4.Makesurethatthecorrectdevicedrivernameisshownintheadapterinformationwindow.

5.ClickthePropertiesbutton.Ifyouarepromptedforanadministratorpasswordorconrmation,type
thepasswordorprovideconrmation.Checkthe“Devicestatus”boxandmakesurethedeviceis
workingproperly.Ifnot,clicktheTroubleshootbutton.ClosethePropertieswindow.
6.ClicktheMonitortab.Checkwhetherthecolorqualityiscorrectlyset,makesureotherinformation
isalsocorrect.
7.ClickthePropertiesbutton.Ifyouarepromptedforanadministratorpasswordorconrmation,type
thepasswordorprovideconrmation.Checkthe“Devicestatus”boxandmakesurethedeviceis
workingproperly.Ifnot,clicktheTroubleshootbutton.
