ReplacingtheSIMcard
Beforeyoustart,printtheseinstructions.
YourcomputermightrequireaSIM(SubscriberIdenticationModule)cardtoestablishawirelessWAN(Wide
AreaNetwork)connection.Dependingonthecountryofdelivery,theSIMcardmightbealreadyinstalledin
yourcomputerorwillbepartoftheshippingcontentsthatcamewithyourcomputer.
IfyoundtheSIMcardintheshippingcontents,adummycardisinstalledintheSIMcardslot.Then
proceedtothefollowinginstructions.
Ifyoundthedummycardintheshippingcontents,theSIMcardisalreadyinstalledintheSIMcard
slot,andnofurtherinstallationisneeded.
Note:TheSIMcardisidentiedbytheICchipmountedononesideofthecard.
Replacementinstructions

1.Turnoffthecomputer;thendisconnecttheacpoweradapterandallcablesfromthecomputer.
