1.Aftertheserverisconnectedtoaworkingelectricaloutlet,thepowerbuttonbecomesactive.Turnon
theserverbypressingthepowerbuttonandthePOSTrunsautomatically.Youwillthenseethelogo
screen.ThePOSTisasetoftestsandproceduresthatareperformedeachtimeyouturnonyourserver.
2.PressF2assoonasyouseethelogoscreen.TheSetupUtilityprogramopens.Ifyouhavesetan
administratorpassword,youmusttypetheadministratorpasswordtoaccessthefullSetupUtility
programmenu.Ifyoudonottypethecorrectadministratorpassword,alimitedSetupUtilityprogram
menuisavailable.
Note:YoucanalsopressEscassoonasyouseethelogoscreentoreviewthePOSTprocessand
information.
3.TheSetupUtilityprogrammenulistsvariousitemsaboutthesystemcongurationsettings.Selectthe
settingstovieworchange.
WhenworkingwiththeSetupUtilityprogram,youmustusethekeyboard.Thekeysusedtoperformvarious
tasksaredisplayedatthebottomofeachscreen.
