Lesbatteriesouemballagespourbatteriessontétiquetésconformémentauxdirectiveseuropéennes
2006/66/EC,normerelativeauxbatteriesetaccumulateursenusageetauxbatteriesetaccumulateurs
usés.Lesdirectivesdéterminentlamarcheàsuivreenvigueuedansl'UnionEuropéennepourleretouret
lerecyclagedesbatteriesetaccumulateursusés.Cetteétiquetteestappliquéesurdiversesbatteries
pourindiquerquelabatterienedoitpasêtremiseaurebutmaisplutôtrécupéréeenndecycledevie

InaccordancewiththeEuropeanDirective2006/66/EC,batteriesandaccumulatorsarelabeledtoindicate
thattheyaretobecollectedseparatelyandrecycledatendoflife.Thelabelonthebatterymayalsoinclude
achemicalsymbolforthemetalconcernedinthebattery(Pbforlead,Hgformercury,andCdforcadmium).
Usersofbatteriesandaccumulatorsmustnotdisposeofbatteriesandaccumulatorsasunsortedmunicipal
waste,butusethecollectionframeworkavailabletocustomersforthereturn,recycling,andtreatmentof
batteriesandaccumulators.Customerparticipationisimportanttominimizeanypotentialeffectsofbatteries
andaccumulatorsontheenvironmentandhumanhealthduetothepotentialpresenceofhazardous
