LED status displays
For fault diagnostics, LEDs are available on the front of the PROFINET module.
Note!
During normal operation ...
ƒ the "BS" LED is blinking and the "MS" is permanently on.
ƒ at RJ45 sockets X241 and X242 the green LED must be on or blinking.

Description
Pos. Colour Condition
MS green
blinking The communication module is supplied with voltage but is not
connected to the standard device. (The standard device has been
switched off in the initialisation phase or does not exist.)
on The communication module is supplied with voltage and is
connected to the standard device.
ME red
blinking The PROFINET function "Node blinking test" is triggered by the IO
controller.
By the blinking LED accessible IO devices can be identified
(localised).
on There is an error in the communication module.
BS green
off The communication module is not active on the fieldbus.
blinking The communication module is in the "DATA_EXCHANGE" state.
