Scanner front cover removal
1 Open the ADF.
2 Remove the numeric keypad cover. See “Numeric keypad cover (MX321) removal” on page 241 or
“Numeric keypad cover (MX421, MX521, and MX522) removal” on page 242.
3 Remove the control panel assembly. See “Control panel assembly (MX321) removal” on page 245 or
“Control panel assembly (MX421, MX521, and MX522) removal ” on page 246.
4 Slide the right cover to the right to remove.
