REMOTE CONTRO L SYSTEM
Inspect the five functions of the
system.
a) Locking the door
1. Close all the doors.
2. Push the
button on the
wireless remote control.
Note: A t this time, all the turn sig-
nal lights flash 1 time sounding one
beep. However, when you push the
button with any door not closed
securely, the buzzer sounds for 10
seconds or until all the doors are
closed securely.
b) Unlocking the doors
1. Push the
button on the
wireless remote control once
to unlock the driver ’s door.
2. Push the
button once
again within 3 seconds from
the first push to unlock other
doors.
Note: At this time, the interior and
outer foot lights come on and all
the turn signal lights flash twice,
sounding two beeps.
3. Check that all doors automati-
cally relock after 60 seconds,
if a door is not opened.
c) Unlocking the trunk lid
Push the
button and hold it
until the trunk lid unlocks.
Note: At this time, one beep
sounds.
d) Opening the windows and sliding
roof

Within 3 ft. of the driver ’s door,
push the
button until the win-
dows and sliding roof start to
move. When the button is re-
leased, they stop opening.
Note: When all the windows and
the sliding roof start to open, one
beep sounds.
