Mechanical safety:
No objects that may collide with the bed (furniture, stands etc.) may be located near it (20 cm minimum).
Special caution must be taken when operating moving parts of the bed. Damage of the bed or patient
injury may occur as result of the bed parts colliding with other objects!
Before the mother in labor accesses the bed, the castor brakes must be engaged. Accessing the bed only
from side of seat section.
The bed is not designed for mothers over 240 kg (527 lb.).

Never enter the space under motor operated parts of bed (back, seat and leg rests).
Before undertaking any resetting of the birthing bed check if no one is within reach of the moving
parts.
Before any resetting, check for kinked and/or tangled power cables.
After setting the bed in place, all brakes must be engaged so as to prevent unwanted
movement of the bed, e.g. during patient’s occupancy.
When setting the bed all four castors have
to be in contact with the floor and the brakes engaged.
4.4 Setting the product
Check all delivered items after unpacking.
Install the equipment and accessories.
Install front panel (in case of tables with dismountable front panels).
Always install the table on even floors.
When installing the table, avoid collision with power supply cable or excessive tensioning of the cable.
Check correct plugging in.
Avoid lose extension cables/ power socket bars lying on the floor.
Check all mechanical and electric protection elements are in place.
The table has not any central switch. When disconnecting from power mains, plug off power cable.
The power cable should always be accessible.
