8 Maintenance
From practical testing results, the technical lifetime of the product is 15 years. Lifetime of the battery is
limited and must be replaced.
batteries (these are provided with the warranty of 6 months).
gas springs need to be replaced every 12 years.
Treads of fastening screws or the joins on the frame parts may get degreased by disinfectants. In these
cases, timely lubrication prevents costly repairs.

Dangerous electric voltage
Within the scope of annual regular revisions of a medical equipment, it is necessary to check the battery
voltage (loadless). If the measured value is below 12V (24V in case of measuring two battery cells
together), it is necessary to replace the battery immediately.
