► In the case of other mattresses check maximum approved mattress dimensions (chapter Technical Specication)
and its specic shape.
The manufacturer recommends the use of the following mattress systems on the Sprint 100 bed:
SPRINT 100 PASSIVE MATTRESSES
■ Sprint Standard
■ Sprint Comfort
■ Sprint Advanced
11.1 Intended Use
Sprint Standard, Sprint Comfort and Sprint Advanced are mattresses intended for use with Sprint 100 universal transport
stretcher only. Purpose of these mattresses is to support patient´s body during his transport in critical condition. At the
same time these mattresses are intended for basic examination of the transported patient. These mattresses individually
are not intended for transport of the patient from one place to another.
11.1.1 Anti-slip coating
CAUTION!
This anti-slip coating is not intended to prevent mattress movement when subjected to large forces so care
must be taken during patient ingress & egress or with agitated patients.
CAUTION!
Placing any loose material such as sheets between the Sprint 100 mattress support platform and the bottom
surface of the mattress will reduce the effect of the anti-slip coating and extra care must be taken during pati-
ent ingress & egress or with agitated patients.
The bottom surface of the Sprint 100 mattress has an ‘anti-slip’ coating. This is intended to help prevent the mattress moving
around on the Sprint 100 mattress support platform during patient transport, mattress support platform articulation or whilst the
patient is moving around.
11.2 Installation of Passive Mattress
The passive mattress is shaped to t the Mattress Support Platform during bed positioning.
