7. REMNANT EXTRACTION SYSTEM
Please read the safety instructions provided at the beginning of this manual before
handling the following devices.
7.1. Description
The vise serves to insert and to extract material from the collet of the barfeed system.
Independently of the material, the diameter, or the bar profile, the clamping jaws are invariably the same
and do not require any adjustment.
The vise of the ALPHA 552 barfeed system allows the extraction of remnants of from 90mm to 400 mm
long.
