9. Troubleshooting
9.1. Communication
After connecting power supply, SmartControl performs a communication test through one
cycle, i.e. during reading or entering key register values, LED etc. to the controller, and after its
completion the communication test turns off. When the test is off, SmartControl ignores faulty
transmissions.
With substantial disturbances, this can manifest though delayed reactions to pushing the
keys, slow refreshing of variables.
To turn on continuous communication testing in order to diagnose problems and the
frequency of their occurrence, hold bottom left key ( 7 ) when turning on SmartControl until the
following information is shown:
