Shunting
DANGER!
Danger of injury!
People can be severely injured by being crushed during
shunting.
X Always make sure that there is nobody between the
MT and trailer while hitching.
X Always keep eye contact with guiding personnel.
X Never let the semi-trailer/trailer run onto the MT.
X The MT must always be coupled to the stationary
semi-trailer/trailer.
Driving on ramps and inclines
DANGER!
Accident hazard!
When driving on ramps and inclines, the MT may tip
over or slide and become out of control.
X Only drive on inclines or ramps that are authorised
traffic routes and are safe for driving.
X Be sure that the ground is sufficiently clean and
provides enough traction. Be especially careful on
snow and ice.
X Drive only at reduced speed on inclines.
X Drive carefully when crossing steep inclines.
