X Let the engine run at low idle speed.

Pull the oil dip stick out.
X Wipe the oil dip stick with a clean, lint-free cloth.
X Reinsert the oil dip stick completely.

Pull the oil dip stick out again.
The oil level should lie in the “HOT CHECK” range between
the “HOT-ADD” and “HOT-FULL” markings.
X If necessary, refill oil into the oil filler nozzle or drain oil.
Check the oil level several times. In case the oil levels
deviate from each other, make sure that the
transmission venting is not plugged.
If you still determine greater deviations, contact the
customer service to have the fault rectified.
During the daily oil level check, conduct the hot check.
The oil has to be at operating temperature for an exact
oil level check.
