Dewatering compressed air tank
There is always a residual humidity in the de-humidified
compressed air. The moisture condenses in the compressed
air system and collects in the compressed air tanks.
Every compressed air tank is equipped with a dewatering
valve for draining away condensation.

X Park the MT on level ground.
X Stop the engine and withdraw the ignition key.
X Open the valve by pulling the ring in the direction of the
arrow.
3 The water can drain.
X Keep the ring pulled until no more water comes out.
Check in case of heavy water collection, whether the
function of the air dryer cartridge is still given and
replace if necessary, see “Replacing air dryer
cartridge” on page 81.
