Distance from the film planE! . to the subje ct can be de o
termined by the distance scale (7) .
Curves on the distance scale are represented in a different
color for each lens. The figure on the distance graduation
(6) which meets
the curve for th e lens used after focusing
reveals the distance to the subject.
For ex am pie,
if the distance graduation and the curve are
as shown in the photo after focusing with the 127 mm lens,
you can confirm that distance to the subject is 5 ft by reading
the graduation aligned with the orange curve,
