preview
lever, and the
depth
of
field
can
be
observed
on the
ground
glass
focusing
screen.

distance
scale
ring (29)' and
align the
figure
representing
the
focused
distance
with
the
center
index
mark
on
the
depth
of
field
scale
(30).
The
two
distances
(on
both
sides
of
the
center
index
mark)
opposite
the
same
figures as
the
ac tu
al
lens
aperture
on
the
depth
of
field
scale
are the near and
far
limits
of
depth
for
a
given
distance
and lens
aperture.
For
example,
when
photographing
a
subject
15
feet
away with
the
90mm
lens at
an
aperture
of
f /
11
,
objects
from
about
30
to
10
feet
will be
in
focus.
