7. Dry the assembly thoroughly with a soft lint free cloth and or compressed air before reinstalling it.
Carefully inspect the capping tray seals (1) around the edge of the capping pad for any damage or nicks.
Push down with your finger to make sure that the spring mechanism moves freely, allowing the cap to
compress. If the seals are damaged replace capping pad.
8. Reinstall the capping plate by feeding the drain tube (2) through the hole in the support plate (3). Install
and tighten the 4 hex head bolts. Cap Maintain Off will bring the wiper blades back.
9. After the machine is in the Ready mode, run an Auto Clean mode from the PCS software and then a
Nozzle Check to confirm printhead quality.
