Replace Printhead Filter

Items required:

1 - Black Disk Filter - 20 Micron (M&R Part No. 7990090)

1 - 3/32" Hex head Wrench

1 - Rubber gloves

1 - Lint Free Rags

There is secondary filter prior to the ink going into the printhead.

1. Shutdown machine as described in this manual.

2. Using a 3/32" hex head wrench, remove the four bolts (1) holding on the clear front cover (2).

Note: It may be necessary to twist the ink purge handles up to the vertical position to remove the

cover.

3. Unscrew the connection (3) on each side and replace with a new filter (4). The filters are uni-directional.

Make sure they are installed correctly. They are mark IN on one side and that side goes up towards the

ink valve assembly.
