114 Matrix SETU ATA211 V1 System Manual
Configure this parameter as 'No', if the ATA should send SIP-ID configured on the SIP account, for the OG
call from FXS/FXO port to Proxy/P2P SIP account.
Default = 'No' for all SIP Accounts.
Vocoder Preference
The ATA supports following Vocoders:
Preference1: G.711 (A-law)/G.711(Mu-law)/G.729/G.723. Default = G.711 (A-law)
Preference2: G.711 (Mu law)/G.729/G.723/G.711(A-law). Default = G.711 (Mu law)
Preference3: G.729/G.723/ G.711 (A-law)/G.711(Mu-law). Default = G.729
Preference4: G.723/G.711 (A-law)/G.711(Mu-law)/G.729. Default = G.723
This parameter signifies the Vocoder in preferential order which can be requested to the remote user while
making OG call.
For IC call, the system will select the codec from the types offered by the IP device of the caller and if it is
same as any of the vocoder type, configured in the preference vocoders, the call will be established. Else
the IC call will be rejected.
Default = Sequence of Vocoders, mentioned above.
Use Symmetric RTP?
Using this feature, it will be possible for a SIP device to send the RTP on the same connection on which it
is listening for RTP. This will be done only for peer to peer accounts.
This parameter can be set as 'Yes' or 'No'. Select the option 'Yes' if the ATA211 is located on a public IP
and you want to make an outgoing call to the SIP client located behind the NAT router or if you need to
receive incoming calls from the SIP client located behind the NAT router. Default = No.
DTMF Options
Following options are used to signify, how the DTMF digits will be sent over IP:
Inband
Outband
SIP (INFO)
This option is used while making OG calls. Default = 'Outband'.
DTMF dial Timers
DTMF ON Time:
Program this parameter for the time for which the DTMF digit which is to be outdialed is required to be ON.
You can program this timer from values 100, 150 or 200 msec.
By default = 100msec.
DTMF OFF Time:
Program this parameter for the time for which the DTMF digit which is to be outdialed is required to be
OFF.
You can program this timer from values 100, 150 or 200 msec.

DTMF ON/OFF time parameter will be used when DTMF option is selected as 'RFC 2833 (Outband)'.
