Matrix SETU ATA211 V1 System Manual 93
This parameter is programmed if the parameter 'Allow Incoming calls?' in this page is selected as 'Yes'.
Different routing options for IC calls are explained below: (For all options, 'Incoming Call Route' parameter
should be programmed in this chapter).
'Route to FXS':
This feature allows to route the incoming call on FXO port to the FXS port which is used by the user.
Select this option if you want to route, all IC calls to FXS Port. If this option is selected, the IC calls will be
placed on FXS port for duration of Ring Timer. For this option, the parameter 'Ring timer' should be
programmed. The IC call will be rejected after the expiry of ring timer.
'Route to fixed destination number as per incoming call route selection':
This feature allows to route the incoming call on FXO port to another programmed number through the port
configured (default is SIP1).
If this option is selected, the user should program the desired SIP number for 'Fixed Destination number'
where he wants to receive the calls. On receipt of call on FXO, ATA will immediately place the call on the
programmed number. This is similar to feature Call Forward-Unconditional.
If IC call on FXO port is to be routed as per Dialed Number Table and FXS is programmed as the
destination route, the ATA will place the call to FXS port. Refer chapter “Dialed Number Table” for more
details.
'Route to FXS If not answered within ring timer, route to fixed destination number as per incoming call
route selection':
This feature allows to route the incoming call on FXO port to another number through the port configured
(default is SIP1), when the user (FXS port) is not present or can not attend the call even after the 'ring' on
the station of the user, has stopped.
This feature is similar to 'Call Forward-No Reply'. On receipt of call on FXO, the call will be first placed on
FXS for the duration of 'ring timer and if user does not answer the call during this time, ATA will place the
call on the programmed fixed destination number.
If call is not answered within ring timer and call is to be routed as per Dialed Number Table, ATA will place
the call to FXS if FXS is programmed as destination route in the Dialed Number Table. Refer chapter
“Dialed Number Table” for more details.
'Answer the call and route to dialed number as per incoming call route selection':
This feature allows to route the incoming call on FXO port directly to another port which is configured
(default is SIP1) after the gateway has answered the call.
When the caller, makes the call on FXO port, he will get the dial tone of ATA and can make a call on IP
network by following ways:
The remote user (caller) can dial desired number. In this case, ATA will select the SIP account as per
incoming call route programmed.
The remote user can dial the FXS number to route the call on FXS port.
The remote user can dial the selective trunk access code to select the desired SIP Account for making
OG call. Refer chapter “Making Calls” in 'Using SETU ATA211' for details of access codes.
The remote user can dial access code for Speed Dialing. Refer chapter “Speed Dialing” in 'Configuring
SETU ATA211' for details of access code.
If number dialed by caller is to be routed as per Dialed Number Table and FXS is programmed as
destination route in the Dialed Number Table, ATA will place the call to FXS port. Refer chapter “Dialed
Number Table” for more details.
'Route to FXS. If not answered within ring timer, answer the call and route to dialed number as per
incoming call route selection':
This feature allows to route the incoming call on FXO port to another port only after the gateway has
answered the call, within ring timer (caller will get dial tone of the FXO port).
