Why won't my McCulloch CS 42S start?
    • R
      robertkellyJul 27, 2025
Your McCulloch Chainsaw might not start because the ignition switch is off. Move the ignition switch to ON. Also, the fuel tank could be empty, so fill the tank with the correct fuel mixture. A spark plug not firing could also be the reason; in that case, install a new spark plug. The fuel filter may be dirty and needs replacement or the fuel line may be kinked or split and needs repair or replacement.
