Felling Cut

If th(;:re is bru sh around the tree you
are felling, clear a working space so
that yoo do not trip or stumble when
working , Have a clear path of retreat
before making the felling cut. Watch
out
for dead limbs and bark which
might fall while you are cutting.
Be sure to clean the cut wood out of
the undercut so the tree will fall true.
Make the felling cut horizontal, moving
the bar in an arc. If you are using a
