should
be
supported
so
that
the
end
to
be
cut
off
is
off
the
ground
in
the
air.
Ii
the
log
is
supported
at
both
ends
and you
must
cut
in
the
middle,
make
an
undercut
halfway
through
the
log
and
then
make
your
down
ward
cut.
This
will
prevent
the
log
from
pinching
your
bar
and
chain.
Be
careful
that
the
chain does not cut into the ground when bucking
as
this
causes
rapid
dulling
of
the
chain.

most

the
maintenance
of
the
Mini Mac 6
can
be
done by
anyone
handy
with
tools,
specialized
adjustments
and
repair
work
should
be
done
by a
McCulloch
chain
saw
serviceman.
AIR
FILTER
The
air
filter
acts
like
the air
filter
on a
car.
It
keeps
di
rt
out
of
the
eng
ine.
The
air
filter
must
be
kept
clean
.
If
the
filter
gets
dirty,
the
engine
won't
run
properly
because
the
dirt
will
block
the
flow of
air
.
