Test Configuration
DC Tests Section
1. Use the Temp Compensation drop-down list to select the winding insulation material type. The selection adjusts
the algorithm used by the software to properly calculate temperature compensation values for the Asset under test.
Most Assets (built after 1975 ) will use Thermosetting in this field.
2. Specify a default Correct To value for the Asset. (Most standards use 40° C.)
3. The Test Options drop-down list helps you select the combination of IR/DA/PI Tests you want to execute.
4. Choose the type of tests that you want to enable for the selected test configuration by sliding the IR/PI Test and/or
Hipot Test toggles to the right.
5. Define parameters for each test according to your local motor testing program specifications, or those defined by
your customer.
