Transport
Dry out the appliance (see p. 72).
Empty and clean the drip tray and the coffee grounds container.
Empty the water reservoir and the bean container. If necessary use a vacu-
um cleaner to vacuum out any beans that are hard to reach.
Take the Melitta Claris
®
water lter out of the water reservoir.
Clean the brewing unit (see p. 67).
Transport the appliance in the original packaging if possible, including
hard foam elements, to prevent transport damage.
Caution!
Do not transport or store the appliance in low-temperature vehicles or
rooms, as the residual moisture could freeze or condense and cause dama-
ge to the appliance.
Disposal
Please dispose of the appliance in an environmentally responsible manner
via suitable collection systems.
