This menu can be used to parameterize and display life consumption.
The calculation can be switched off <OFF> under <Algorithm>, or the desired calculation algorithm can be selected: As per
IEC 354 or as per ANSI/IEEE standard.
The expected life span of the transformer must be parameterized in the <Life> field. This value refers to the expected life of the
insulation system at rated load. For the assumed value, see the documentation of the transformer or contact the transformer
manufacturer.
The <life consumption> is specified as a percentage. If, for instance, the transformer has an expected life span of 30 years and a
life consumption value of 50% is indicated, the expected life span of the transformer at rated load would be 15 years. However,
the transformer ages with its thermal load and not at a constant rate of time.
