10. Care should be taken following recent surgical procedures when muscle contraction
may disrupt the healing process.

1. Skin irritation and burns beneath the electrodes have been reported with the use of
electrical muscle stimulators.
2. Possible allergic reactions to tape, gel or electrodes may occur.
