Overview
Toavoidpersonalinjuriesduetothelossof
vehiclecontrol,DONOTadjusttheseats
whilethecarismoving.
Thecarisequippedwith6-wayor4-wayadjustablefront
seatsandindependentrearseatswithfoldablebackrests.
Anidealpositionoftheseatshouldmakesureyourdriving
positioniscomfortable,whichallowsyoutoholdthe
steeringwheelwithyourarmsandlegsslightlybentand
controlalltheequipment.Takecarewhenadjustingthe
heightofthefrontseat-thefeetoftherearpassenger
couldbecometrappedwhentheseatislowered.
DONOTinclinethefront-seatbackrestexcessively.
Optimumbenetisobtainedfromtheseatbeltwiththe
backrestanglesettoapproximately25°fromtheupright
(vertical).Thedriverandfrontpassengerseatsshould
bepositionedasfarrearwardaspractical.Aproperly
adjustedseathelpsreducetheriskofinjuryfromsitting
tooclosetoaninatingairbag.
HeadRestraints
Adjusttheheightoftheheadrestraintsothat
thetopofitisinlinewiththetopofthe
occupant'shead.Thislocationmayreduce
theriskofheadandneckinjuriesintheevent
ofacollision.DONOTadjustorremovethe
headrestraintswhilethecarismoving.
DONOThanganythingonanyheadrestraint
orheadrestraintrod.
Theheadrestraintisdesignedtopreventrearward
movementoftheheadintheeventofacollisionor
emergencybraking,therebyreducingtheriskofheadand
neckinjuries.
