Whenautoholdstopsthevehicleforreasons
suchasenginecutout,releasingtheseat
beltorpressingtheautoholdswitch,the
electronicparkingbrakeisapplied.It
cannotbeguaranteedthatthevehiclewill
bestabilisedinallcases.Forexample,the
rearwheelsareonaslipperyroadsurface,
orthevehicleinclineistoogreat(largerthan
20%).Pleasemakesurethatthevehicleis
safelystabilisedpriortoexiting.
DONOTtakeanyextrariskswhendriving
duetothefactthevehicleisttedwith
additionalconveniencefunctions.Thedriver
shouldpayfullattentionandobservethe
surroundingsevenifthevehicleisequipped
withautoholdsystem.Alwaysobservethe
surroundingsandadjustyourspeedand
drivingstylestosuitvisibility,weatherand
trafcconditions.
Theautoholdsystemcannotnecessarily
stabilizethevehiclewhenstartingoffonthe
hill,orbrakethevehiclewhendrivingdown
thehill(suchasonaslipperyoricyroad).
DONOTleavethevehiclewhentheengine
isoperatingandtheautoholdisactive.
Autoholdcannotguaranteetheelectronic
parkingbrakeoperationinallcaseswhere
theengineisstopped.Pleaseensurethe
electronicparkingbrakeisappliedandthe
vehicleisstablisedpriortoexitingthevehicle.
Theautoholdfunctionshouldbeswitchedoff
duringtheuseofautomaticcarwashes,the
electronicparkingbrakemaysuddenlyapply
andcausevehicledamage.
Withtheenginerunning,whenthevehicleneedstostop
inafrequentmannerorforalongtime(suchaswaiting
infrontoftrafclights,parkingonthehillormovingand
stoppinginatrafcstream),autoholdsystemassiststhe
